Better-fit opportunities, not shared lead lists

Most lead generation services work the same way: a homeowner fills out a form, and their contact information is sold or sent to five, ten, or more contractors simultaneously. You compete on speed, not fit. HomeGoSmart works differently. Homeowners post projects privately and choose which vendors, if any, receive their phone number. You only see opportunities that match the criteria you defined — service area, job type, minimum project value, and availability.

Every opportunity comes with a Vendor Fit Score that breaks down nine match dimensions before you decide whether to accept. You are not paying for access to a list of homeowners who may or may not want what you offer. You are seeing pre-screened projects where the match has already been evaluated.

California roofing pilot

HomeGoSmart is currently accepting California roofing contractors into the vendor pilot. During this phase we verify your contractor's license and insurance, confirm your service area and criteria, and walk you through the matching workflow before any homeowner contact is shared. The pilot is designed to be low-friction: no upfront subscription, no blind contact lists, and no commitment beyond the individual opportunities you choose to accept.

FAQ for contractors

What counts as a qualified match?

A match is qualified when a homeowner's project falls within your stated service area, matches a job type you accept, meets your minimum project value, fits your availability, and the homeowner has authorized vendor contact. We score each opportunity across nine criteria and only surface matches where the fit score meets a minimum threshold.

Are leads shared with multiple contractors?

No. HomeGoSmart is not a shared lead marketplace. Each opportunity is reviewed by our team and presented to a small number of criteria-matched vendors — not broadcast to every contractor in the area. Homeowners choose who receives their contact information.

When do I pay?

There are no upfront subscription fees during the pilot phase. Pricing for accepted matches will be disclosed before you commit to anything. No payment is required to apply or to be considered for opportunities.

Can I reject a match?

Yes. You see the project details and fit score before committing. You can accept, decline, or request more information on each opportunity. There is no penalty for declining a match that doesn't fit your current workload.

What homeowner information do I see first?

You see the project category, scope description, ZIP code, budget range, timeline, and photos if provided. Homeowner contact information — name, email, phone — is only shared after the homeowner reviews your fit score and explicitly approves the contact release.
