Post your home project privately.

Project

Use this if…

Posting a project is the right next step when you know you have work to do but want to understand your options before talking to contractors.

  • You have a roofing, repair, or remodel project and want better-fit vendor suggestions without sharing your phone number.
  • You've already checked a quote and want a second opinion from a screened contractor.
  • You want vendors to come to you with accurate quotes rather than cold-calling after a form submission.

What happens next

  1. 1Submit your project details — category, description, ZIP code, photos, budget range, and timeline.
  2. 2Receive a project readiness score showing what additional detail would help vendors give you accurate quotes.
  3. 3Our team manually reviews your submission and matches it against vendors whose service area, job type, and criteria fit your project.
  4. 4You approve which vendors, if any, receive your contact information. No vendor gets your phone until you say yes.

Your privacy choices

When you post a project you choose one of four contact privacy levels: keep all contact private, share email only, share phone only with vendors you individually select, or let HomeGoSmart coordinate introductions on your behalf. You can change your mind at any time by emailing us. Every contact release event is logged with a timestamp and consent record. For full details, see our privacy and contact policy.

Frequently asked questions

Will my phone be shared with contractors?

No, not unless you choose to allow it. When you post a project you select your own contact privacy level. Your phone number is held privately by default and only released to vendors you explicitly approve.

Do I need an account to post a project?

No. You can post a project without creating an account. We ask for your name and email so we can follow up, but you can skip phone entirely.

How do you choose which vendors see my project?

Our team manually reviews each project submission and matches it against vendors whose stated criteria — service area, job type, minimum project value, and availability — fit your project. Vendors are scored on nine criteria before we present any opportunity.

Can I delete my project later?

Yes. Email privacy@homegosmart.com with your project reference and we will remove your identifying information and close the project. Consent log entries are retained for audit purposes.

Is this available outside California?

Project posting is open nationally. Vendor matching is currently focused on California roofing contractors during our pilot phase, with more categories and states planned.
